This fiery Thai curry will both charge your taste buds and power up your protein levels.

Ingredients (serves 4)
- 1 small onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 inch knob of ginger
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp red curry paste
- 4 tbsp of whey protein isolate
- 1 1/2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 can of coconut milk
- 250ml chicken stock
- 700g turkey breast strips
- 75g peanuts, dry-roasted
- 1 tbsp lime juice
Method
Step 1: Peel the onion, the chop in half and cut lengthwise into thin slices.
Step 2: Peel the garlic and ginger and finely chop.
Step 3: Heat the vegetable oil in a large wok over high heat for one minute.
Step 4: Add the onion, garlic and ginger and stir for three to five minutes until softened.
Step 5: Add the red curry paste, stir well and fry for a further minute.
Step 6: Add the protein powder, sugar, fish sauce, coconut milk and chicken stock.
Step 7: Lower the heat to medium and let the flavours mingle over a simmer.
Step 8: Add the turkey to the curry and let it simmer until cooked for 20 minutes.
Step 9: Squeeze in the fresh lime juice and garnish with chopped peanuts fir extra protein shot.
Step 10: Serve with wild brown rice.
