Guilt-free Nachos Recipe

A game-night staple, these guilt-free nachos will satisfy your cravings, build muscle and burn fat.

 

Ingredients

  • 150g extra-lean beef mince
  • 1/2 avocado, chopped into chunks
  • 40g sliced red onions
  • 1 tbsp fat-free Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp Mexican spices
  • 30g reduced-fat cheddar cheese
  • 1 wholemeal wrap

 

Method

Step 1: Preheat your oven to 390ºF.

Step 2: Slice the wrap into triangles and lay them on a baking sheet. Once the oven has heated up, place the wraps into the oven. Bake for five minutes, turn them over and bake for another five minutes.

Step 3: The wraps will color slightly and will become crisp. Let them cool while you make the chili topping.

Step 4: In a dry fry pan, stir the beef mince for fi ve to seven minutes until it starts to brown. Then stir in the Mexican spices. Toast the spices off then remove the mince from the heat.

Step 5: You can now start stacking your nachos. Begin by laying the nachos out on a large plate, then top them with the chili and then the sliced red onions, avocado, grated reduced-fat cheese and yogurt. These are popular toppings but you could also add extra jalapeños if you like a spicy kick.

Step 6: This recipe makes enough for one person as a main meal, or two people as a starter or a snack.
