Greek yogurt is a great source of quality protein – a good portion comes in the form of casein protein, which is slow digesting. That means it will help you feel fuller for longer and it’s great as a bedtime snack. The next time you’ve got a sweet tooth before bed, reach for these tasty cheesecake bites.
Ingredients
- 8oz plain fat-free cream cheese
- 7oz non-fat Greek yogurt
- 4 egg whites
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3 tbsp organic sugar
- 1â„2 tsp of baking soda
- 2 tbsp Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard 100% Whey protein powder
- 2 tbsp coconut flour
- 1 cup sliced strawberries
Method
Step 1: Preheat oven to 325°F.
Step 2:Â Mix all the ingredients together.
Step 3:Â Spray muffin tins with cooking spray and using a tablespoon, spoon the mixture into mini muffin tins.
Step 4:Â Bake for 25 minutes.
Step 5:Â Cool for five minutes. Sprinkle on some high-protein chopped nuts like almonds for extra flavor if you like.
