Orange Cream Cake Recipe

When you need a break from clean eating and have earned your cheat foods here’s how to make sure it’s still packed with muscle building protein.

Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  •  1 tsp vanilla extract
  •  2 slices orange zest
  • 1/2 orange
  •  2 tbsp olive oil
  •  1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup sweetener
  • 1 cup whole-wheat pastry flour
  • 2 scoops vanilla protein powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt

For the frosting:

  •  2/oz fat-free vanilla greek yogurt
  •  4oz fat-free cream cheese
  •  1 tsp vanilla extract
  •  1 scoop Lean Pro 100% whey vanilla protein powder

 

Method

Step 1: Shave two slices of zest off your orange then peel it.

Step 2: Add all of your ingredients for your bread, cake or cupcakes into a food processor and mix them together.

Step 3: Add all of your ingredients for your frosting into a bowl and mix them together until a frosting forms.

Step 4: Take out either a bread, cake or cupcake pan and coat it with some nonstick cooking spray. Evenly distribute your mix into your pan.

Step 5: Bake on 350ºF for 15 minutes.

Step 6: Spread your frosting onto your bread, cake or cupcakes and top with some orange slices.
